Chiropractic SEO retainers

Chiropractor SEO when you are the only practitioner

A solo clinic wins on a short list of local phrases: the pack for your town, a page per technique and condition you treat, and offers written the way your board wants.

A chiropractor greeting a patient at a clinic reception desk

A one practitioner clinic is a different problem from a group practice. You compete for a handful of phrases in one town, your own time is the constraint on everything, and a month of unanswered calls costs more than the retainer.

A short target list follows from that. Six to ten phrases describing what you treat and where you are, worked patiently, beats a hundred keyword dashboard nobody in the clinic opens. Chiropractor SEO at this size is mostly a discipline about what to ignore.

Andmotive has built and looked after sites since 2018, and the monthly search work is a newer line we sell honestly. There is no shelf of chiropractic case studies here. What there is: the developer who finds the fault fixes it.

The problem

Why the clinic is invisible

Fourth in the local pack

Three results sit above the organic list on a phone, so fourth is invisible. Review count, proximity and your primary category set that order, and the category is fixable this afternoon.

You say adjustment, they say back pain

Nobody types the clinical term when their back seizes on a Sunday. They type the symptom, the body part and their town.

An offer page that draws complaints

New patient specials and free exams are the standard chiropractic advertisement, and they are what state boards write advertising rules about.

Voicemail at two o'clock

You are mid adjustment, the call goes to voicemail, and nobody rings back until Thursday. Search brought the lead in. The desk lost it.

What we do

What the retainer covers

01

A page per condition

Lower back pain, sciatica, neck pain after a collision, headaches, shoulder trouble, pregnancy care. Each aimed at one phrase with real local volume, written in the words patients use.

02

Technique pages

Gonstead, Activator, Diversified, flexion distraction, Graston, Active Release. Patients who have had one of those search for it by name, and almost no clinic in your town has bothered to write that page.

03

Local pack work

Primary category, service list, real hours, photos added regularly, questions seeded and answered. For a single location clinic this is usually the highest return hour in the retainer.

04

Offers read against the rule

We draft the special, then read your state chiropractic board's advertising rule and fit the wording to it before publication. Cheaper than a complaint.

05

Speed on the booking flow

Most chiropractic sites die on a slideshow hero and three tracking scripts. We measure Largest Contentful Paint in the field and pull it under 2.5 seconds.

What's included

In every chiropractic retainer

  • A month one audit covering crawl, index coverage, the local listing and page speed
  • A condition and technique page map built around the work you want more of
  • Search Console reporting each month, taken from the clinic's own verified property
  • Listing monitoring, including public edits and duplicate profiles
  • A quarterly review that either reforecasts the targets or tells you to stop spending
How this works

Where chiropractor marketing money goes wrong

How a chiropractor SEO retainer runs

We start by cutting the target list down to something one practitioner can actually own, because a clinic in a single town does not need a hundred keyword report. It has to be the obvious answer for maybe eight phrases, and the useful ones are nearly always a symptom plus a place.

Next the listing, because for a solo clinic it outperforms the website on routine bookings. Categories, services, hours that match the door, and a watch on public edits. We also check for a stray second profile left by a previous address, which is why reviews often sit split across two entries.

Review work runs carefully here. Ask for reviews, and build the ask into the end of the visit rather than an email nobody opens. Before you put a patient's words on your own site as advertising, read your state chiropractic board rule, because several boards restrict patient endorsements and the position genuinely differs across state lines.

Then the writing, one or two pages a month, and you read each draft. You know what you treat and how you describe it. We know what the page has to look like. It comes out better when both go in.

  • One short target list you can remember
  • Fixed hours a month, logged and shown
  • You read every draft before it publishes
  • Thirty days notice, no annual lock in
How we work

The first 90 days

  1. 01

    Week one, the audit

We crawl the site, read the Search Console history and list what your three nearest competitors rank for that you do not. The output is ordered by worth, with the cheap items marked.

  2. 02

    Week two, listing and speed

Category, services, hours, photos, duplicates. Then the field speed numbers, because a clinic site taking five seconds to paint on a phone loses the patient before any of this matters.

  3. 03

    Week three, the target list

Eight or so phrases, each mapped to a page that exists or one we will write. You sign that off, and it is the document we both work from all quarter.

  4. 04

    Monthly, from there

Technical work, a page or two, listing and review work, then a short report and a call you can take between patients.

  5. 05

    Day 90

Position, impressions and calls, all compared against the dated month one baseline. If that line is flat and nobody can explain why, you hear it from us first.

Budget

What moves a chiropractor SEO price

How many towns

One town is straightforward. A clinic pulling patients from four neighbouring towns needs pages that earn their own place, not the same text with the town name swapped, which Google reads as doorway content.

How many clinics near you

Some towns hold two chiropractors and some hold twenty. The second case wants links and months of patience, and no amount of writing budget substitutes for either of those.

What the site runs on

A standard WordPress install is quick to work on. A locked chiropractic template where the page title comes out of a theme options screen costs hours we would rather spend writing.

How much you want written

One page a month and three are different retainers. Each is researched and reviewed at 1,200 to 1,500 words before it goes near the site.

From the work

The rule that catches free exam offers

Here is the rule nobody checks before writing a free exam offer. Florida Statutes section 456.062 grants no right to rescind, whatever a marketing deck told you: it requires the advertisement itself to carry a prescribed sentence, in capital letters and clearly distinguishable from the rest of the text, giving the patient the right to refuse payment for any other service performed within 72 hours of responding to the offer. Wording, capitals and contrast are all specified. Check whether your own state runs an equivalent.

Pick the three phrases you most want to own and search them on your phone, standing inside the clinic, not at home. Proximity moves the pack, so the results on your kitchen table are not the ones a patient two streets away is looking at. Whoever sits in that pack is who you are actually fighting.

Send us those three results and the site address. Back comes a note on what is winnable, what is not, and whether the money would do more on somebody answering the phone at two o'clock.

FAQ

What chiropractors ask us

How much does chiropractor SEO cost?+

We price by the hours a clinic needs rather than by tier, so the number follows a proper look at your town and your site. How many chiropractors work near you, how many pages you want written and the state of the current build all move it. Ask for a written scope.

How long does it take to rank a chiropractic clinic?+

Faster than most verticals, because chiropractic search is won locally and links matter less here than they do for a hospital or a law firm. A corrected primary category and a real service list can move pack position inside a month. Condition pages take a quarter or two.

Is Google Business Profile enough on its own?+

For a solo clinic it is the single biggest lever, and it is still not enough on its own. The listing wins whoever is searching nearby right now. Condition and technique pages win the person who researches for a fortnight before ringing anybody at all, and those are the bigger cases.

Can chiropractors advertise patient success stories?+

It depends on your state board, and several of them restrict how a patient endorsement may appear in advertising, so read your own board's rule carefully before publishing any of them. Google reviews are a separate matter, and worth asking every patient for as they leave the front desk.
